Any federal, state, or local government entity, including political subdivisions such as municipalities, counties, or villages, that operates an internal commercial driver training program for its own employees or employs individuals required to hold a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), shall be eligible for GOVERNMENT MEMBERSHIP. Government Members are dues-paying Members at a rate established by the Board of Directors. In accordance with the July 1, 2026 Bylaws, Government Members are eligible for election to the Board of Directors as set forth in Article VI, Section 6, and acceptance requires a majority vote of the Board of Directors.
